On Saturday 12 June after attending the West Cumbria Branch Dinner of the I Mech E on Thursday 10th and "Wainwrighting" at the south west corner of Ennerdale on Friday, I climbed the New West on Pillar Rock with two young I Mech E Members, Darran Ball and David George.
This proved to be one of the great days to be remembered. A ten hour round trip from Gillerthwaite where I had stayed overnight.
